Campus Challenge is a week long residential / live-in program open to any student in Years 10, 11 or 12, organised by the UWA Sport and Recreation Association.
The Challenge is held each year in July during the school holidays and provides students with hands-on experience in all aspects of university life.
A number of Indigenous students are sponsored by the School of Indigenous Studies and the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations to attend Campus Challenge.
Here is some of what past students have said about Campus Challenges:
Campus Challenge for me was a GREAT and memorable experience. I believe that more Indigenous students can benefit from this experience.
It was an awesome experience - full of fun activities and challenges, both academically and socially.
I felt very privileged especially coming from the North as there isn't much stuff like Campus Challenge and half the time we wouldn't know about it, never mind be invited and funded as well...
It is a way for you to get a real feeling of uni.
What I enjoyed most was meeting other people with similar interests, learning about the different courses offered at uni and the sport we played.
