School of Indigenous Studies

The School of Indigenous Studies, in Shenton House (situated behind the Guild building), provides facilities and support, both academic and social, to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students enrolled at UWA.

Students can take advantage of:

• a Student Resource Centre, which includes study facilities as well as a common room and kitchen
• an Aboriginal student body - the Western Australian Students Aboriginal Corporation (WASAC) - which is responsible for organising social activities on and off campus
• scholarships for Indigenous students
