Students at UWA have the opportunity of studying overseas for one or two semesters.

Recently Indigenous students have been taking up this exciting option.  Between 2008 and 2012, sixteen Indigenous students studying Education, Law, Arts, Science and Landscape Architecture have completed at least one semester at:

  • University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA
  • University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA
  • North Carolina State University, USA
  • McGill University, Montreal, Quebec, Canada
  • Queens University, Ontario, Canada
  • University of Calgary, Alberta, Canada
  • University of Glasgow, Scotland
  • University of Sheffield, England
  • University of Leeds, England
  • Durham University, UK
  • University of Otago, Dunedin, New Zealand
  • University College, Dublin, Ireland

The School of Indigenous Studies encourages students to consider this opportunity and provides some financial assistance. There are also a number of scholarships available to assist students to make this a reality.
